So what has happened so far during the absence of defg? well a couple’o things, well mainly 3 things.
1. New Gear Acquisition
2. Birthday
3. Out of Heritage
so last month, I finally got the pedal that I have been waiting to get my hands on for quite awhile, the Ibanez tubescreamer which is a must have for every blues guitarists well at least for my 2 favorite guitarists of all time- John Mayer and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
So I got a TS9DX from Joshua of music master ( I recently found out he’s a family friend, what a small world! )
Next up! Birthday! I must say, this year’s birthday is quite a nice one for me, one of my father’s good friend named James too called all the way from London just to wish me. That was really something, next thing, Joe, Vic, Connie, Jason, and Apple asked me out to have a drink but ended up giving me a surprise cake and a rather surprising one at that, let me show you what I mean by that.
Yes I know, at 1st sight I thought i saw half a durian with eyes and a candle on top of it lol ended up being a fruit cake, this surprised me lol, all the same, many thanks to them for taking the trouble at a late hour haha.
Next thing I got from my parents is also awesome, they got me a Boss BD-2 Blues Driver! this was the next pedal I wanted after i got my TS9, I’ve gotta say this thang has some mojo to it. Really awesome pedal, nice for some texas blues and some light distorted blues as well, it’s acting as a booster for my TS9 for solos at the moment and they really compliment each other in my signal chain. So here it is.
So next pedal Imma get is a reverb pedal! and followed by a delay pedal and my chain is almost finished.

And lastly, Yes I have moved out of my apartment at Heritage, finally! haha so now, it’s time for yet another apartment hunting journey. Hope I get good people as housemates and a nice place too
